Swainsboro, Georgia USA The Pine Tree Festival was first held in May 1946 in Swainsboro Geoprgia and has been held there ever since. The Swainsboro Kiwanis Club was the sponsor of the festival. The festival is now sponsored by a community foundation. Annual events include a parade on Saturday, beauty pageants, and a craft show. Some years features a Pine Tree Sitter who stays in a Pine Tree for up to 32 days before the festival.
